Purpose of the job
Optimize MME aftermarket competitiveness, via solid price management strategy, based on intensive aftermarket research, in order to maximize after sales turnover and profit.

Responsibilities
  • Market research and competitor analysis.
  • Execute price analysis for product strategy definition.
  • Monitor competitor price movements.
  • Ensure transparency on relevant product and pricing information of MME and competitors in the aftermarket.
  • Insurance related parts pricing.
  • Setup aftermarket price positioning strategy.
  • Improve pricing quality and competitiveness, customer satisfaction and MME profit.
  • Consistently review parts & accessories pricing and make recommendations.
  • Seek potential business opportunities through pricing review.
  • Anticipate on implementation of possible price revisions to be incorporated in the bi-annual price revision towards all MME customers.
  • Support implementation of the bi-annual price revision
  • Act as advisor in pricing related matters between P&A Sales, Product Management, Procurement, F&C.
  • Advice on pricing related activities for Product Management initiated or requested topics (e.g. MME pan-European seasonal campaigns, product groups).
  • Advice on pricing related activities for Sales initiated or requested topics (e.g. product groups, individual market’s special price requests (support, in-country campaigns, tenders, price surveys).
  • Advice & support on market price alignment. (e.g. Price Harmonization)
Job requirements
  • Bachelor degree (business administration).
  • >5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in automotive (after sales pricing) on an international, pan European environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office software, including Access.
  • Good communication skills in English language, other language is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of service providers’ pricing tools (such as EUCON, Eurotax, Audatex) is beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
