REGIONAL PURCHASING MANAGER NL
Fulltime, hybrid working possible
Function:
- As Regional Purchasing Manager you are responsible for an efficient local purchasing strategy to manage costs, risks and quality of purchases. You look to develop existing suppliers and scout for new possibilities and opportunities (networking).
- Key role in local project procurement demands and central (international) procurement-led projects. Cost improvements projects are done without losing quality. Trends and market developments are watched closely.
- You are able to professionally negotiate terms, conditions and/or contracts for WEPA NL. Check whether suppliers comply to laws and regulations. You support other departments in purchasing/procurement related issues or questions.
- You are part of the international purchasing team, where Group wide theme’s will be discussed. You bring in your network and local expertise and advise.
- University degree (minimum Bachelor) in purchasing or business administration, preferred NEVI 1 / 2, and significant purchasing related experience (minimum 3 years).
- Knowledge about ERP systems, preferably JDEdwards in which you take on a key-user role. Strong plus would be knowledge and network within technical / production / industrial related theme’s.
- Strong negotiation and management skills. Able to connect and support within the entire organization, locally and internationally, on all levels.
- You are fluent in Dutch, English and possibly in German, writing and speaking.
- You fit perfectly in a family culture environment, with international aspects in the mix. You are always motivated to preform on a high level and are able to set the right priorities.
