Senior Sales Executive – Your typical day!
Raring to go, you take time to plan out your day, diligently prioritising all communication actions and ongoing deals. Your customers do not need to chase you, your proactive approach means that you’re already planning to contact them.

With all your existing customer base taken care of you are ready to focus on expanding your territory. You have a plan! Proactively, approaching potential customers in both the rail and aviation industry, you seek to obtain the right contacts through all mediums available to you. The telephone is your best ally. You thoroughly enjoy engaging with potential customers and building a new relationship together with them.

Your proven sales background means that you can communicate with any level within an organisation. As a skilled negotiator, you actively seek information from prospects and existing customers, put simply, you ask. To ensure that you can develop a strong relationship and account strategy, you reflect and check your understanding readily and translate this into meaningful product solutions.

Now, you’re off to a good start and to keep up the momentum, you ensure that your administration reflects this professional behaviour, accurately documenting all necessary information as you go. All contractual details and product specifications are cross-checked to deliver an excellence in accuracy. You know your colleagues in other departments and your customers depend on you to get things right!

Just in, a new opportunity, you recognise it and maximise the potential sales opportunity. Bringing this sales opportunity to a successful close is your goal and you are going to make it happen.

As we head towards 17:00 pm, you have a confirmation for a customer visit, so it’s time to get the travel plans fully underway. With a budget mindset you create a proposed travel itinerary, ready for sign off. Next step - Get going on a sales presentation that is going to make you stand out from the competition.

  • Education - HBO level
  • Experience in B2B sales, preferably technical/engineering
  • Exceptional communication skills in the English language (written and verbal). A knowledge of more languages is an advantage
  • You are available and ready to travel internationally on a regular basis
