QUALITY SERVICE OFFICER (MAASTRICHT AREA)
The Quality Service Officer reports to the Technical Service Manager Fertilizers.As Quality Service Officer you work closely together with Technical Service manager and the Port officer. Together you prevent, handle and settle product quality claims which might occur when delivering product to customers and in the supply chain. You will have therefor regular interactions with Logistical service providers as well as with customers
Your key responsibilities in this position:
- You regular interact with factories, warehousing staff ( internal as well as external) and drive handling and storage improvements in the supply chain.
- You make product surveys on products always keeping our strong quality brand and the customers interest at heart.
- You provide product support and are a center of competence with respect to safety and security in Fertilizers handling and use.
- You are able to implement new (EU) regulations in the organization.
Your Profile
We are looking for motivated candidates with Bsc+ level in Supply Chain or Logistics ideally complemented with a minimum of 5 years of product and customer related experience (in the fertilizer industry) and knowledge of the (fertilizer production) processes and bulk commodity supply chain activities. You are a born diplomat with pragmatic approach, analytical skills, decisive and pro-active and you have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Dutch, as well as skills in MS Office and SAP. Communication skills in German are a pro. You enjoy frequent travel and customer visits and you are willing to work flexibly when required by business circumstances.
