We are KNAPP Benelux, a subsidiary of KNAPP AG in Austria, headquartered in Roermond (NL) ) and a satellite office in Ghent (B). As a team of enthusiastic professionals we design, sell and service tailor made material handling solutions in the Netherlands and Belgium. Besides large integrated solutions, such as Wehkamp.nl -one of the biggest automated e-commerce distribution warehouses in the world-, we also offer a conveyer solutions portfolio (Flexline). To drive forward the sales of our Flexline Solutions, we are looking for a Sales Manager Western Europe f/m to join our team on short notice. You will be selling mainly conveyor systems produced by KNAPP Sweden.

Tasks
  • Create market awareness and order intake related to KNAPP Flexible Solutions, mainly in the Benelux and Germany.
  • Support customers (regular visits, presentation of products and solutions, etc.) and create (write) quotations.
  • Involve sales support (located mainly in Sweden) regarding complex sales projects at customers. Closely cooperate with the Sales Director in Sweden.
  • Ensure that the work is according to our internal processes and proactively work to develop the sales processes and follow up on agreed KPI’s.
  • Control of and cooperate with internal and external parties to bring projects to successful completion.
  • You act within our matrix corporate structure, and report to the Regional Director Benelux & Nordics.
Candidate
  • Completed technical bachelor or master education, for example in logistics, business administration, engineering or physics.
  • Proven track-record in business development and complex selling processes in the material handling industry.
  • Very good knowledge and understanding of logistic systems and the logistic workflow.
  • Spoken and written in Dutch, English and German, preferably in French as well.
  • Able to drive forward a sales case and motivate the internal team members.
  • Strong communication skills and a good listener.
  • Able to create good relations on all levels, high emotional intelligence.
  • Able to adapt to changes, manage multiple tasks easily, good problem solving skills.
