Except flour tortillas our range also consists of tortilla chips, wraps and other specialty breads like naan and pitta. We supply to retailers, sandwich manufacturers and foodservice sectors.

In Europe, Mission Foods has six plants, including two in the UK, one in Moscow, two in Spain (Madrid) and one in the Netherlands (Roermond).

For our plant in Roermond we have a vacancy for a

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR / SALES FORECASTING

This role offers a great opportunity for a CS Supervisor looking to develop their analytical skills and be more involved in the Sales side of the business. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a relatively fast paced and fluid environment.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports
  • Responsible for customs affairs in line with legal regulations, customs duties on plant level, including customs declarations
  • Maintain Good Customer Relations
  • Manage the sales forecast, and liaise with Sales to ensure accurate forecast
  • Liaise with Production Planner to ensure on time production of orders
  • Aims to achieve and maintain the best possible level of Customer satisfaction
  • Provides priorities to the customer service team, follows up on any unsolved issues and complaints
  • Ensures timely and effective communication to customers queries and handling of complaints follow-up both internally and to customers
  • Motivates employees, ensures their professional development, team spirit as well as their self-development
  • Trains and coaches the team members in standard policies, operating procedures and best practices
  • Assists and encourage active cooperation with other company‚Äôs departments and stake holders
  • Use SLA and other KPIs to ensure effective measurements of performance and Customer Service functioning
  • Reports and cascades relevant key statistics to customers and higher management
  • Identifies opportunities for operational improvements, encourages innovation, continues improvement techniques and implement solutions
  • Set up and improve logistic processes between suppliers and customers, including participating in EDI projects
  • Initiate activities to improve transport costs
  • delivery performance with customers
  • Manage process of sending samples to customers at request of Sales by liaising with Warehouse (standard product samples) or NPD (new product samples) and ensure on time delivery to customers
  • Take part in daily and weekly meeting with other departments
Qualifications and job skills required:
  • Bachelors degree in commercial or accounting
  • Practical experience should include customer service experience or Sales/Business Analysis
  • The individual should be commercially minded with a keen understanding of data analysis and reporting, Sales forecasting.
  • Customer orientated and flexible
  • The individual needs to have good analytical abilities to do the analytical side of the job.
  • User level knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Business level of Dutch and English language, Any other European language like German & French is a plus.
