This is the position
Deliver the intelligence - on an ongoing basis - of where Ranpak’s business is, and where it is going in relation to the total available market in order to create competitive advantages. To identify and quantify new potential markets and segments and to support the management with the development of strategic plans.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • To ensure that conclusions are drawn from data of high integrity, put in the right context of time and competitiveness.
  • To provide recommendations to management and assist with the development of plans for the organization.
  • Use all available resources within and outside the company to provide data and analysis on:
  • Geographical markets: provide intelligence on new geographical markets to investigate the potential for Ranpak
  • Product lines: provide intelligence on Ranpak’s products and product lines to streamline portfolio management and profitability
  • Competitors: monitor and share information about the competitive environment, manage the competitor intel platform and provide detailed intelligence on specific Ranpak competitors when requested
  • Customer & market segment analysis: provide internal stakeholders such as management and product management with intelligence on targeted customers and market segments
  • Win/loss analysis: monitor and report business drivers and threats
  • Budgeting & forecasting: provide ITB analysis to complement PLN and finance budgeting
  • Customer satisfaction survey: organize annual customer satisfaction survey and monitor evolution of results
  • M&A: support the creation of business cases to determine possible M&A targets
  • Be proficient in the use of the CRM system to support continuous development of the tool and extract the right information out of it for above a analyses
  • Assist in the effectiveness of the sales force by providing reports for the account managers, account teams, GSM’s and management

  • Bachelor or master level
  • Analytical, integer and inquisitive
  • Service oriented and communicative
  • Independent worker but also team player
  • Correct verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Good knowledge of MsOffice, preferably CRM and ERP systems
