By using less valuable resources like water, space and nutrients they can optimize their crops. Recently they launched a new open software platform which integrates greenhouse data and provides growers better business insights.

To expand the Marketing department of this company located in Roermond, we are hiring a driven and passionate Market Intelligence /Business Intelligence Specialist.

It’s a fulltime long-term position with ambitious career opportunities. In this role you report to the Marketing Director. You immediately receive an employment contract with the company itself.

Your challenge
In this role you gather data and deliver market and trend analysis reports. You can interpret what the data means for the company’s strategy, contributing to their Strategic Plan and you can forecast future trends in the horticultural sector. In this position, you support and influence business and market decisions and realise growth for the company.

Your main activities are:
  • Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends;
  • Gather data and provide analysis of customers, competitors, industry and market conditions;
  • Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data, such as surveys, questionnaires, and opinion polls;
  • Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports who are presented on a regular basis;
  • Prepare industry related marketing reports including product development, price and promotion plans, and present the results to the Management Team;
  • Prepare a business plan for new initiatives within the company;
  • Collaborate and provide marketing support to internal departments such as Marketing, Supply Chain and Business Development;
  • Provide product-market fit analyses to support product development process for both hardware and software.

Your profile
  • Master's degree in marketing, communications, business, statistics, finance or similar; 
  • 2+ years´ experience (young professional) working with marketing, research or campaign analytics - preferably as an external consultant or as part of an FMCG company or research agency; 
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both oral and written. An additional language such as German is a plus;
  • Convincing, result oriented, critical, self-organized, conscientious and pro-active;
  • Strong social, analytical, problem solving skills and strong in multi-tasking;   
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics), SAP (BW) and proven experience with building dashboards;
  • Your main office is in Roermond. You travel 5% of your time to our offices in other countries.
