INTERIM CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER


It's a temporary interim position for 6 to 12 months located in Heerlen for at least 3 days a week. 4 or 5 days is possibly also an option.

Who you are:
An independent and strong interim professional who is in for a challenge and has experience with changing an organization. Motivated to bring your passion and expertise to the Customer Service (Channel Support) team. You play to win and get everyone around you to accelerate with you. You recognize talent and deploy it sensibly. You process information quickly and are constantly looking to improve and simplify processes. You take the lead of the Customer Service organization and show them the way to success. You create team spirit, self-management, stability, transparency and clarity regarding expectations. In addition, you ensure an optimal cooperation between your team and the internal cross-functional departments. You are decisive, self-managing and well organized. And breathe Customer Service and order management.

What they ask from you:
  • Lead and represent the Customer Service organization (11 people - in charge of order planning, order processing, complaint management, customer service and showroom installation)
  • Structure work-flows, clarify organizational responsibilities, coach in ad-hoc prioritization and decision making and optimize organizational and operational productivity
  • Develop, structure and organize tasks and responsibilities
  • Support sales team in continuously improving customer relationships
  • Boost customer appreciation and improve service level
  • You report to the Sales and Marketing Director
What you bring in:
  • Bachelor or Master degree and at least 5 years management experience in customer oriented (customer service/ordermanagement) functions in a manufacturing company
  • Excellent organizational, motivational and communication skills which will ensure high levels of productivity
  • Proven track record in transforming multidisciplinary customer service teams and resolving complex customer issues in interim management settings
  • A strong sense of urgency that ensures customer satisfaction
  • Working experience in made-to-measure production company with retail customers
  • Working experience in a project-oriented environment
  • Expertise in managing change
  • Languages: Dutch, English and preferably French and German
  • Strong, fact based communicator
