We are currently looking for an

IT ADMINISTRATOR


The job
  • Fully supporting, configuring, maintaining and upgrading networks and on premise servers.
  • Installing and integrating new (server) hardware and applications.
  • Ensure network security and connectivity.
  • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.
  • Create user guidelines for company software and tools (Citric, Anyconnect etc.).
  • Perform maintenance and updates to phone central.
  • Recommends changes to Management and informs of possible risks.
  • Making recommendations to Management for improving the company’s IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords.
  • Resolve problems reported by end user.
  • Define network policies and procedures.
  • Ensures connectability of equipment/power supplies for all conference rooms.
  • Maintain documentation on procedures and network infrastructure in manuals.
  • Specify system requirements and design solutions.
  • Research and make recommendations on server system administration.
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems encountered with hardware and software.
    Escalate requests to the appropriate party, as needed. Replace or repair defective parts and equipment.
  • Maintaining and setting up Virtualization technologies.
  • Supporting end-users with their daily duties.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge base in area of expertise.
  • Performs other essential tasks as assigned.
Our requirements
  • MBO education (ICT), preferably HBO-ICT education.
  • Microsoft certification
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in a similar IT related function, preferably gained within an international environment.
  • Professional knowledge of network technologies, servers and Windows clients.
  • Experience with the following Software: Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft SQL Server, WMware ESXI, vSphere,
    Preferably experience with: Veeam Backup, Autodesk Product Design Suite, Autodesk Vault, Citrix Metaframe and Epicor. Experience with Network equipment such as Switches, routers, VPN and firewalls. Managing and configuring Cisco network infrastructure
  • Excellent basic computer skills in office applications, operating systems, network.
  • Working and understanding the concepts of Virtualisation Technologies.
  • Professional knowledge of English is required.
  • Uses resources effectively to generate solutions; takes initiative when resolving problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and to interact with induviduals at all organizational levels; conducts self in polite and professional manner.
  • Demonstrates a motivation to provide fast, accurate and complete customer service at all times;
  • Ability to apply organizational skills when given a project; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
  • Consistent accuracy of all work is essential.
