ORBCOMM Europe B.V. is a dynamic international organization, which is a leading provider of total solutions for data recording and online monitoring in the transport sector. The headquarters of ORBCOMM Europe is based in Hoensbroek, Netherlands with an office in Germany.

ORBCOMM EUROPE is part of ORBCOMM, a publicly traded US company, which is market leader in the field of M2M solutions for asset tracking, management and remote control.

In Hoensbroek all Euroscan products are developed and produced. The international project management and global support of the Euroscan products are coordinated from the head office in Hoensbroek.

NL Office; Hoensbroek

Part time (18-24 hours per week)

In this role you are accountable to the Planning and Purchase leader.

  • Administrative tasks associated with order processing. Sale, purchase orders and shipping.
  • Support in creating manuals and instructions for purchasing & Logistics.
  • Daily MRP & ROP check’s
  • Completing the purchase and sales documents for proper invoice handling.
  • Follow-up of the pending purchase orders and administration of delivery in the ERP system.
  • Ordering office supplies.
  • Support in answering incoming calls for production and logistics.
  • In the case of peaks in the department and/or holidays/sick leave by peers you will help with the production or warehousing activities.
  • Other relevant administrative tasks and supporting duties within the department.
  • Inform Production & Warehouse on company e-mail messages

  • MBO work and thinking level, department secretary or equivalent.
  • 3 years’ work experience in a similar profession
  • Good communication skills
  • Energetic and pro-active
  • A pragmatic and a "can do" attitude
  • Great team player and flexible
  • Autonomous disciplined and accurate
  • Stress resistant
  • Interest in technics
  • Solid knowledge of administrative software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent language skills, both written and verbally in Dutch and English
  • Good German language skills are a pre.
